Enterprise City: Teaching entrepreneurialism to children

Spark Alternative Learning is proud to announce Enterprise City. This 6-week class is designed for kids 12-16 years old and designed to teach them not only basic business skills, but also leadership frameworks to support them for life.


During the Enterprise City course, students will get to create a business selling a self-developed product to friends, neighbors and marketing the business to local stores. the kids will create a business plan, marketing plan (and marketing materials), sell their new commodity and learn to read a P&L statement. This group activity is super fun and a great opportunity to learn how business works!

Designed for kids 12-16 years old, students will learn to embrace and reimagine failure as a learning process and become more confident and creative problem-solvers. They will learn new ways for effective brainstorming and how to apply design-thinking. They will conduct market research, and practice pitching, presenting and public-speaking.
